21/01/2025We had a fun-filled morning with some of our local school support staff at the University of Cumbria. They learned all about PE and what they can do during break time, lunch time & after school to help get their pupils more active and engaged in sports!
They became experts on using the STEP and SMILES principles, learnt new exciting playground games, Multi-skills and were introduced to the Disney Inspired Shooting Stars programme!
Disney Inspired Shooting Stars training is available to all school staff and is a free online course! We definitely recommend this programme to all schools. Storytelling and imaginative activities help encourage pupils to become more physically active and build a positive relationship with sports.
