05/11/2024Congratulations to Mossgate Primary, who managed to win the BLA SSCO Year 3/4 Football tournament on Thursday. Absolute scenes at Bay Leadership Academy, where Mossgate managed to come top of a ten team league to claim their first ever football trophy. Teacher & Team Coach – Mr Thwaites was delighted with the team performances.
All the teams involved were fantastic, the standard of play was amazing with all teams playing with smiles on faces and displaying brilliant sportsmanship. Thanks to all staff who signed up for the event.
Well done to Westgate and Lancaster Road who finished second and third, winning Silver and Bronze medals. Thanks very much to Bay Leadership Academy for hosting and providing referee’s for the matches. Special mention to the Great Wood player who managed to grab the BLA SSCO STAR AWARD, great leadership skills and consistent performances.
